this year unlike previous years I wanted to test the players using text instead of the Gacon LEGER. The Gacon is a test with intermittent periods of work and 45 seconds with breaks of 15 seconds and like all the other tests needed to verify and find the real MAS (maximal aerobic speed) of each athlete and then implement intermittent exercises designed to correct development of aerobic power. To take the test do not need some kind of equipment, but it is important that the measurement is made very precise. So we use all the space on the playing field and we are going to place the first cone, which will also be the 1st Step, at 125 m.. Important that the curves are drawn so arrmonico with stakes and ribbon marker. After 125 meters we measure 6.25 meters and placed second cone (corresponding to 2 nd Step) and so on for the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and so on until you reach a maximum of 23 -24 step. Once prepared, the location is ideal to create groups of 7-8 players and start a quick heating. A specific heating is not needed, since the beginning a very slow speed (10 km / h) itself is already warming. At this point, players sit on the starting line to make the first step, then the whistle will start with a slow ride to get to the 45th second on the first cone. The ideal is that every 15 seconds players are advised so they can better adapt to their race. So once you reach the 1st step to recover 15 seconds walking until you come onto the cone of the 2nd step, the whistle again repeat the run up to take yet on the start line and so on.
